Irfan is a financial and business consultant with a nearly 25 years of experience of managing advisory and consulting as well finance and commercial departments. His expertise in the field of advisory include transaction advisory (due diligence, feasibility study, Business Valuation), merger and acquisition (preparation of completion statements, purchase price allocation and adjustment and post- merger integration of organization, policies, procedures and ERP). He also specializes in risk-based audits, SOX implementation and testing, preparing, and implementing policies, procedures and Authority Matrices.

He has led ERP implementations of number of ERPs as financial consultant as well as project lead. His extensive work as Commercial Director involved managing project finances, supply change and initiating change orders. He had also led an organizational restructuring of a very large corporate in Pakistan and has also established regional offices of MNCs in MENA region.

He is the founding and managing partner of ProdigyWay International overseeing the accounting, audit and transactional advisory services.
New Project

Previously, he has headed the regional finance and Commercial Departments of Dresser-Rand, group financial controller of a hospitality company in UAE, established and managed advisory function of a very large audit firm in KSA and worked as a CFO of Saudi Pak Leasing Company in Pakistan. He completed his mandatory audit and accounting training from PwC in Pakistan before moving to PwC, KSA. His key accomplishments include:


  • Advised sell side on successful completion of the sale of Middlesex university to Amanat Holdings and The Entertainer FZ LLC to GFH Financial Group.
  • Business transformation of the largest shisha manufacturer out of the region (Al Fakher Tobacco Company, Jordan) and Savola Foods, KSA).
  • Implementation and testing of SOX for Schlumberger in KSA.
  • Complete restructuring of Saudi Pak Leasing Company resulting in organization change and streamlining the operations of the Company.
  • Regional establishment of Dresser-Rand MENA region which included creation of global parts division in Dubai and setting up the biggest state-of-the art factory in KSA.
  • Appreciated for extensive work carried out for recovery of taxes that were not recovered for nearly 10 years, without the help of any tax advisors. Also automated tax information system.
  • Led the project of establishing Accounting and procurement share service in India for the whole group. Developed processes and mechanism for the smooth transition of departments to shared services and managed for interim period of 3 month before handing over shared services to respective manager.

Irfan is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and also holds an Associate membership of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
